摘要: The factors shaping the health of current generation adolescents are multi-dimensional and complex. purpose this study was to explore determinants self-rated (SRH) attending a faith-based school system in Australia. A total 788 students 21 Seventh-day Adventist schools Australia responded lifestyle survey that assessed SRH as well potential including outcomes mental health, vitality, body mass index (BMI), select behaviors, social personal demographics. Structural equation modeling used analyze data examine direct indirect effects these on SRH. structural model developed good fit with data. outcome had strongest association (β = 0.17). Several upstream variables were also associated higher ratings. behavior sleep hours (βtotal = 0.178) followed by fruit/vegetable consumption (βtotal = 0.144), physical activity (βtotal = 0.135) vegetarian diet (βtotal = 0.103). Of demographic measured, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) (βtotal = − 0.125), negatively influencing SRH, gender an increase (βtotal = 0.092), influence being mediated through other model. This presents conceptual illustrates complex network concomitantly adolescents. provide insights into adolescent which may inform priority areas for improving construct.
