摘要: Abstract A kinetic model was proposed to describe the generation of active chlorine species (ACS) in circulating 3% NaCl solution subjected treatments low-amperage (0.01 A) pulsating direct current (PC) as a first step towards an effective circulation electrochemical brine disinfection process with low ACS level. The developed based on mass balance between production and evaporation loss during process, found predict reasonably well sigmoidal concentration profiles. Kinetic analysis revealed that at same amperage, generated lower level by PC treatment than normal (DC) through lowering frequency pulse capacity condenser circuit. This implies could be more useful DC for delicate control appropriately disinfection.
