Electrochromic and structural characteristics of mesoporous WO3 films prepared by a sol-gel method

摘要: The preparation of electrochromic films mesoporous tungsten trioxide from tungstic acid and hexaethoxide precursors with the addition an organic stabiliser via a sol-gel method is reported. These have been structurally characterised both film morphology crystalline composition were found to be significantly dependent on temperature at which annealed upon choice precursor. Films lower temperatures consisted amorphous hexagonal trioxide, whereas above 500 °C comprised solely monoclinic WO3. activity was equally preparation, structure WO3 shown clearly influence colouration efficiency films.
