摘要: Abstract Objective To determine the prevalence of, and factors associated with, use of non-barrier contraception (intrauterine device, hormonal contraceptives, female sterilization) among sex workers (FSWs) in three Russian cities. Methods A secondary analysis data from a cross-sectional survey FSWs aged 18 years older Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk was undertaken. Participants had completed one-time computer-based 2011. Among 708 with current contraceptive need, logistic regression used to evaluate contraceptives. Results Use contraceptives reported by 237 (33.5%) FSWs. being work longer (≥ 4 years vs Conclusion Only one-third contraception, suggesting substantial unmet needs. are an important target population for family planning, reproductive health counseling, care.
