摘要: We have constructed computational minimum cross-section histograms that statistically unveil the presence of preferred configuration during breakage Ni nanowires. The computed histograras showed strong dependence on nanowire stretching direction. For [100] and [110] directions we observed a very large peak assoeiated to 5 atoms. confirmed configurations contribute this are staggered pentagonal found formation these nanowires is enhanced by increasing temperature up 550 K. At higher temperatures, declines due competence against melting processes.
