摘要: Turbulent mixing in a T-junction causes thermal striping which is irregular and frequent fluctuation of layer. Thermal significant problem because it unpredicted high cycle fatigue cracking piping systems. Since this phenomenon hardly detected by common plant instruments due to frequency complex mechanism, numerical approaches are indispensable for precise evaluation. This research was carried out define suitable effective method evaluating stress induced striping. A three-dimensional hydro-thermo-mechanical analysis performed based on one-way separate find the characteristics components its results were compared one-dimensional simplified analysis. It found that detailed can overestimate or underestimate according assumed heat transfer coefficient cannot estimate considerable mean effects.
