摘要: The concept of a path, or ordered traversal some links in hypertext, has been part the hypertext notion from its early formation. Although paths can help to solve two major problems with systems, namely user disorientation and high cognitive overhead for users, their value not recognized. Paths also provide backbone computations over an important issue future hypertext. This paper constructs framework understanding path mechanisms explores basic issues surrounding them. Given this framework, it reviews that have provided by other systems. Finally, describes Scripted Documents system, which developed test potential one powerful mechanism.
