Optical sorting in holographic trap arrays by tuning the inter-trap separation

摘要: Particle motion through a holographic trap array has been investigated theoretically and experimentally, it is shown that change in inter-trap separation can be used to selectively control the of particles different sizes. By an appropriate choice holographically generated two-dimensional array, optical potential channels created orthogonal directions such that, from suspension having mixture two particle sizes, sorted channels. The use approach sort 3 5 μm silica spherical channels, mixed these, also demonstrated.
