摘要: Despite advances in screening techniques and early detection modalities, breast cancer remains the most common malignancy affecting women United States. Therapeutic treatment options for malignancies vary nature are complex, with outcomes dependent on a plethora of variables. Lack health insurance, racial disparities, limited access to medical care, socioeconomic status, underuse available therapies, inadequate follow-up noted barriers diagnosis patients cancer. Patient navigation programs have shown benefit assisting these through screening, diagnosis, phases. This literature review will attempt outline obstacles associated timely management complex while highlighting impact professional practice.
