摘要: Inflammatory abdominal aortic aneurysm (IAAA) is histopathologically characterized by extensive adventitial fibrosis, mononuclear cell infiltration with lymph follicle formation, and severe atheromatous changes in the aneurysmal wall. We previously reported a frequent prevalence immediate early gene expression of human cytomegalovirus (CMV) IAAA solution-phase PCR reverse transcription PCR, respectively, suggested that this virus might play role chronic inflammatory reaction IAAA. To evaluate pathogenic CMV infection, frequency distribution infected cells were examined situ compared those atherosclerotic aneurysms (AA) control cases minimal changes. Human leukocyte antigen (HLA)-DR was simultaneously evaluated as marker for immune response related to infection. Immediate also detected hybridization, certify whether infection active or latent. In fibrously thickened adventitia IAAA, HLA-DR-positive more frequently encountered than AA (p < 0.01). largely identified macrophages, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, lymphocytes. The mRNA, which suggests an inducing reaction, most fibroblasts. Our results strongly suggest plays significant induction acceleration aortas
