摘要: Abstract This paper presents an analytical study as well thermal and economic comparisons between two solar still configurations: the pyramid single slope. A mathematical model was developed to simulate configurations their performance. The meteorological data of Aswan City (south Egypt) were used, daily total energy received by each basin calculated. main performance parameters such productivity efficiency are presented for whole year. In addition, assessment distilled water production cost has been carried out. On basis yearly results, slope found be slightly more efficient economical than pyramidal one.
