New Dual Band Dual-Mode Microstrip Patch Bandpass Filter Designs Based on Sierpinski Fractal Geometry

摘要: Dual band dual mode chebychev micro strip pass filter designs are introduced for first time in this paper. The proposed based on the use of square slotted patch resonator. These structures fractally generated using Sierpinski fractal curve geometry applied to conventional from 1st 2nd iteration levels where designed at fundamental frequencies (5.475, 5.45 and 5.4) GHz each while second band( 8.925, 9.15, 9.05) iteration. filters have been a substrate with dielectric constant 10.8 thickness 1.27mm. performance structures, resonators has evaluated full-wave electromagnetic simulator Sonnet software package. Performance simulation results show that these compact addition good frequency responses narrow bands gained.
