Preparative isolation of [U-14C]solanesol from 14CO2-chamber grown tobacco

摘要: A method for the preparative isolation of [U-14C]solanesol from 14CO2-chamber grown tobacco is described. Freeze-dried leaves were Soxhlet extracted with methylene chloride. Fractionation extract by silica gel chromatography yielded crude solanesol. Subsequent purification normal phase high pressure liquid a total activity 474 mCi, specific 0.5 mCi/mmol, and radiochemical purity 95% as determined RP-HPLC. The chemical was 97% identity isolated compound confirmed co-chromatography reference material mass spectroscopy.
