摘要: Abstract Six novel polyamides, incorporating triarylphosphine oxide groups and aliphatic bridging units, have been prepared. Of these, three were synthesised by a direct melt condensation reaction of bis(4-carboxyphenyl)phenylphosphine (p-BCPPO) with series diamines. A phosphorylation polycondensation method was used to prepare polymers from bis[4-(3-aminophenoxy)phenyl] phenylphosphine (m-BAPPO) dicarboxylic acids. The thermal properties all polyamides investigated differential scanning calorimetry thermogravimetric analysis. Significantly different results obtained for the two series. Glass transition temperatures (Tg) in 215–235°C range, together good thermooxidative stabilities (5% weight loss occurring at >420°C) high char yields upon prolonged heating 700°C (40–44%) observed m-BAPPO. prepared p-BCPPO incorporated longer units and, consequently, demonstrated lower Tg values (184–205°C) reduced stability >370°C). Good solubility aprotic polar solvents polyamides. Additionally, those (CH2)5 (CH2)6 within polymer backbone partially soluble (0.1–1.0%) several common organic solvents, such as chloroform acetone.
