摘要: The Swift gamma-ray observatory's Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) has detected a sample of AGNs based solely on their hard X-ray flux (14-195 keV). In this paper we present for the first time XMM-Newton spectra 22 BAT with no previously analyzed spectra. If our sources are representative AGNs, as claim, results global properties an unbiased toward absorption ( -->nH = 0.03), AGN sample. We find 9/22 low-absorption E > 2.0 keV . Five complex classified Compton-thick candidates. Further, four more consistent hidden/buried reported by Ueda and coworkers. Finally, include comparison EPIC available X-Ray (XRT) observations. From these comparisons, 6/16 varying column densities, power-law indices, 13/16 fluxes, over periods hours to months. Flux index correlated objects where both parameters vary.
