摘要: At all scales (delta-wide to individual fields) the acid sulphate soils of Mekong delta show high spatial variability and closely intertwined soil types. Focusing on field level in Plain Reeds, clear correlations are observed between physical chemical characteristics, natural vegetation, groundwater table microelevation. On “high” locations (higher than 85 cm above mean sea level), Typic Sulfaquepts covered with Ischaemum spp. (grass). Highly organic hydromorphic Hydraquentic found “low” (lower 75 where Eleocharis (reeds) dominant. In between, vegetation present intermediate characteristics. These correlations, patterns explained by genesis. Because longer stronger evaporation as compared low locations, small differences elevation can lead important water therefore redox condition. Over long periods, these greatly influence development thus, be considered at an stage expected develop into upon further drainage. Rice growth is strongly influenced characteristics conditions. As a consequence, rice yields correlated Correlations elevation, facilitate mapping highly variable soils. Integration research programmes use adapted methods not only increase efficiency but also make it possible this better understand genesis agronomic processes.
