摘要: Telomeres are special deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) structures that “cap” the ends of eukaryote chromosomes. The term telomere derives from Greek words telos, meaning “end”, and meros “part”. existence these end-parts chromosomes was first suggested in 1938 by Muller (Muller, 1938). Telomere length is involved biological aging disease processes. affected several factors, such as aging, related diseases, gender, genetic environmental factors. length, which a highly variable heritable trait (Jeanclos et al., 2000; Slagboom 1994; Nawrot 2004; Vasa-Nicotera 2005; Andrew 2006; Biscoff 2005), greater women than men 2000, 2005, Benetos 2001; Mayer Fitzpatrick 2007). As well factors also influential on leukocyte dynamics. Environmental including smoking (Nawrot Valdes obesity (Fitzpatrick 2007; Gardner psychological stress (Epel 2005) low socio-economic status (Cherkas 2006) associated with shortened length. Leukocyte can be determined relatively easily processing leukocytes rather simple. has been studied extensively humans relation to both process pathologies. There many correlative studies demonstrating link between (Slagboom al, 1994, Wu 2003).
