摘要: Flavonoids are potentially immunomodulatory factors and it may be inferred that these phytochemicals contribute to properties of the Allium family. In present study, we investigated potential mechanism underlying effect shallot its ethyl acetate (EA) fraction as flavonoid-rich sources. Ex vivo, effects a hydroalcoholic extract shallot, fractions quercetin on lymphocyte viability were evaluated. The proliferative examined using naive mouse lymphocytes determine with highest impact/ activity. addition, in model, both delayed- type hypersensitivity (DTH) responses production key cytokine (interferon [IFN]-ᵧ) Both inhibited cell growth survival concentration- dependent manner. findings also showed especially could induce proliferation. evaluation EA DTH indicated caused significant increase response. Furthermore, they triggered increases IFNγ decreases interleukin (IL)-4 by splenic mononuclear cells. Because activity displayed studies, is plausible have use an agent clinical settings.
