摘要: Like other biogenic carbonate that can be dated, aragonite skeleton of deep-sea corals is a potential archive oceanographic changes over time. Stable isotope analysis commonly used in paleoceanographic reconstruction past seawater temperatures, however, offset from isotopic equilibrium as well recent observations about distribution with the micro-structure deep-water implies non direct paleoclimate reconstructions. Here we test influence sampling scale on interpretations.
