摘要: With solvent evaporation, polystyrene fine particles are found to exhibit an unusual fluorescence change from possessing a typical excimer emission band centered at 330 nm variety of strong structured bands longer wavelength with maxima 356 nm, 365 372 383 404 and 426 nm. Similar emissions also observed in film after removal. The excitation spectra by monitoring these the wavelengths reveal is emitted different fluorophores. folding chains during preparation through reprecipitation chain relaxation evaporation believed be prerequisites for formation fluorophores via phenyl aggregations, while aromaticaromatic interactions between pendant groups on considered bring powerful driving force fluorophorous aggregations responsible phenomena. This discovery can contribute understanding control molecular aromatic systems, especially macromolecule systems. luminescence used manufacture light devices other hybrid materials, as well probe local environment
