摘要: Abstract (−)-Galiellalactone is a hexaketide metabolite with interesting pharmacological activities which was detected in four strains of Galiella rufa (Sarcosomataceae, Ascomycota) and two unidentified fungi shown by their 18S rDNA sequences also to belong the Sarcosomataceae. These were wood-inhabiting apothecial species from Chile an endophytic isolate Cistus salviifolius (Sardinia). Other members family ( Urnula helvelloides , one Strumella coryneoidea isolate) produced no galiellalactone but merely hexaketides structurally related precursors, whereas third group Sarcosoma latahensis griseola S. lacked production altogether. Despite thorough screening programmes, its precursors have not yet been found any fungus outside Sarcosomataceae may thus be chemotaxonomic marker family, supporting current phylogenetic definition. Two pentaketide derivatives 6-pentyl-α-pyrone type all G. as well A111-95 hexaketide-producing isolate.
