摘要: Droplet size distribution analyses were carried out for several types of aerial spray nozzles in an airstream to simulate operation on aircraft. A laser-imaging droplet spectrometer probe was used measure the droplets and determine effects pressure, airspeed, nozzle orientation (angle discharge relative airstream) solid stream, disc-core hollow cone, swirl-type elliptical orifice fan, deflector fan nozzles. Surfactant tap water aqueous pesticide mixtures. Results indicated that thus velocity (the difference between airspeed exiting a nozzle), combination with orientation, extremely important control. Increasing pressure oriented so liquid emitted parallel or at small angle reduced velocity, increased size, percent volume are most susceptible drift. operated larger angles droplets. from 193 241 km/h (120 150 mph) resulted smaller higher
