摘要: Abstract A feasibility study of smart composite materials with embedded photonic crystal fiber (PCF) sensors for measurements local and average strain temperature is presented in this paper. For purpose a material sample fabricated characterized. independent short length PCF modal interferometer utilized, while an measurement polarization maintaining Sagnac interferometric sensor used. The sensitivities buffer coated stripped PM-PCF loop mirror are measured free space compared to those similar the material. It found that acrylate shows same response as one unbuffered which insensitive significant sensitivity when sample. Bragg grating array also comparison by interferometers. results obtained demonstrate feasible technology can be adapted measurement.
