摘要: A software re-engineering method based on the hierarchical-client server (HCS) paradigm is presented. The consists of extracting cross-reference relations and transforming data into an hierarchical set diagrams that represent architecture. These provide a documentation skeleton, may be analyzed with BUBBLES computer-aided engineering (CASE) tool to reveal valuable information encourages re-use helps maintenance. This HCS were used for several systems various sizes, proved very useful reducing budget schedule, improving quality. author shows example subsystem was in framework, presents properties patterns revealed by this analysis. >
