摘要: To critical cytologists, well-preserved cells are of the utmost importance. It is difficult, if not impossible, to accurately interpret cell structure and relate function components have been adequately preserved. For mycologists or biologists interested in fungal ultrastructure, preservation achieved with chemical fixatives at room temperatures has served as basis for nearly all structural interpretations date. Some fungi, particularly members Phycomycetes, appear be preserved well enough conventional fixation protocols that serious artifacts usually recognized. Most Ascomycotina Basidiomycotina (and Fungi Imperfecti), contrast, fixed. The cytoplasm these fungi often appears so muddled one cannot easily distinguish between mitochondria, Golgi, endoplasmic reticulum (cf. Brushaber Jenkins, 1971; Hammill, 1974; Hoch, 1977a; Collinge Markham, 1982; O’Donnell McLaughlin, 1984). Unfortunately, mycological cytologists become accustomed this quality too either do recognize gross cytoplasmic distortions tend ignore such artifactual problems best they can.
