摘要: The methylotrophic yeast Komagataella (Pichia) pastoris has become one of the most utilized cell factories for production recombinant proteins over last three decades. This success story is linked to its specific physiological traits, i.e., ability grow at high density in inexpensive culture medium and secrete yield. Exploiting methanol metabolism core P. pastoris-based processes but comes with own challenges. Co-feeding cultures glycerol/sorbitol a promising approach, which can benefit from improved understanding prediction metabolic response. development profitable relies on construction selection efficient producing strains less ones also depends master bioreactor process itself. More specifically, how could be monitored controlled obtain yield production. In this review, new perspectives are detailed regarding multi-faceted approach protein by pastoris; including gaining pathways involved, accounting variations transcriptional translational efficiency single level monitoring control levels level.
