摘要: The laser-heated diamond anvil cell (LHDAC) technique is a uniquely powerful method for generating the ultrahigh static pressures and temperatures (P> 100 GPa and T> 3000 K) found deep within planetary interiors. Here we show that the LHDAC technique can be used in conjunction with nuclear resonant inelastic X-ray scattering and synchrotron Mössbauer spectroscopy for studying magnetic, elastic, thermodynamic, and vibrational properties of 57 Fe-containing materials under high pressures and temperatures.
