摘要: Compositions suitable for use as paving or a binder materials and possessing improved ductility, viscosity resistance to oxidation are obtained by reacting minor amount of diisocyanate with asphalt. The preferred is toluene diisocyanate. This composition may be blended urethane in situ the urethane-forming components, e.g., polyhydroxy-terminated polydiene hydrocarbon added separately. Blending asphalt-diisocyanate has been found improve homogeneity decrease carbon tetrachloride insolubles.
