摘要: Peripheral nerves are important pathways for receiving afferent sensory impulses and sending out efferent motor instructions, as carried by nerve fibers fibers. It has remained a great challenge to functionally reconnect internal fiber bundles (or fascicles) in repair. One possible solution may be establish 3D fascicle visualization system. This study described the key technology of peripheral reconstruction. Firstly, fixed segments were embedded with position lines, cryostat-sectioned continuously, stained imaged histologically. Position line cross-sections identified using trained support vector machine method, coordinates their central pixels obtained. Then, section images registered bilinear edges fascicles extracted an improved gradient flow snake method. Subsequently, types automatically multi-directional second-order Finally, virtual model was obtained after processed. technique successfully applied reconstruction median hand-wrist cubital fossa regions gastrocnemius nerve. would helpful aiding repair surgery.
