On the Structural Behaviour to Penetration of Striking Bow under Collision Incidents between Two Ships

摘要: This work addressed the evaluation of collision angle and indenter on behaviour of target object. A series scenarios based mentioned parameters were calculated using finite element method. In analysis process, several striking ships of different sizes relative to struck ship are deployed as angles ranging from 0° 180° taken into consideration. The results show that the perpendicular or a 90° produces lowest level internal energy in side category by comparison with oblique collisions range of from 30° 150°. internal energy is found be satisfactory when it compared extent damage outer shell, which also matched with predicted formulae.
