Crystal growth, magnetic and transport properties of single-crystal YbCuGe

摘要: Abstract The magnetic and transport properties of single-crystal YbCuGe are presented. susceptibility which shows uniaxial anisotropic behavior along the c-axis in all temperature range has a kink at around 4.2 K. specific heat also λ-type peak 4.2 K, moves toward low side by an application field up to 90 kOe. linear coefficient is estimated be 5.2 mJ/mol K2 from zero data. electrical resistivity for current principal axes metallic with broad maximum 200 K. Hall drastically changes negative minimum 70 K positive constant value below 10 K. These results indicate that antiferromagnet TN = 4.2 K.
