Biokinematic analysis of the Swedish Warmblood riding horse at trot

摘要: The trotting gait of 4 approved Swedish Warmblood stallions with a mean score > or = 8.67 (maximum 10) at official performance tests was recorded by high speed film (approximately 250 frames/sec). Angular patterns and hoof trajectories the left fore hind limbs were analysed, presented as standard deviation curves. horses had stride duration 794.0 msec (sd 13.7) diagonal advanced placement +29.8 7.6). variation in angular between greatest during swing phase. trajectory reference point shoulder joint angle showed largest maximum (44 29% total range, respectively). phase retraction much longer forelimbs than limbs. angle, fetlock angles, hock pelvis inclination decreased first part stance are assumed to be important for weight absorption storage elastic strain. Kinematic analyses have potential selection horses.
