摘要: Interleukin-6 (IL-6) is a cytokine which involved in many inflammatory processes and the development of cancer. In addition, IL-6 has been shown to be important for induction hepatic acute-phase proteins, regeneration liver stimulation B-cells. binds transmembrane receptor (IL-6R), present on hepatocytes some leukocytes. The complex IL-6R associates with second protein, gp130, expressed all cells body. Since neither nor measurable affinity cells, do not express IL-6R, are responsive IL-6. It could shown, however, that naturally occurring soluble (sIL-6R) can bind gp130 no expression. Therefore, shedding sIL-6R render only cytokine. This process called trans-signaling. chapter, we summarize known activities special emphasis regenerative activities, often depend sIL-6R. A designer Hyper-IL-6, fusion protein sIL-6R, mimic trans-signaling responses vitro vivo considerably higher efficacy than combination natural proteins We recent examples from animal models therapeutic potential Hyper-IL-6 evaluated. propose used induce potent liver, kidney, other tissues therefore will novel approach medicine.
