摘要: In this paper, we study the effect of sequencing storage and retrieval requests on performance automated systems (AS/RS) where a request is assigned predetermined location. By exploiting unique operating characteristic, present several optimum heuristic methods under static dynamic approaches. Applications such include unit-load AS/RS with dedicated storage, miniload AS/RS, potentially randomized storage. We find that can significantly reduce travel time by machine, thereby, increasing throughput, method simple fast, yet considerably outperforms others.
