摘要: Precise DNA replication is critical for the maintenance of genetic integrity in all organisms. In three domains life, starts at a specialized locus, termed as origin, oriC or ORI, and its identification vital to understanding complex process. bacteria eukaryotes, initiates from single multiple origins, respectively, while archaea can adopt either two modes. The Z-curve method has been successfully used identify origins genomes various species, including oriCs some archaea. Based on comparative genomics analysis, we have developed web-based system, Ori-Finder, finding bacterial with high accuracy. Predicted regions are organized into an online database, DoriC. Recently, archaeal identified by both vivo silico methods also included database. Here, summarize recent advances prediction using based method.
