摘要: Abstract CO 2 was measured in rat cortical bone samples with an accurate manometric technique. Bone content increased the age of animals. When heated to constant weight, lost 15.5% their initial fresh content, indicating that CO; exists several chemical forms pool. were exposed vitro atmospheres increasing P co . by 15% its original when for 60 min. pure uptake shown be time- and -dependent, evoking a saturating mechanism requiring presence water bone. These findings lead conclusion compartment consists 30% bicarbonate 70% carbonate. The exact location pool availability as buffer store whole organism are discussed.
