摘要: Quantitative mineralogical analyses of sediment samples from 18 sites in Quebec indicate that plagioclase is the most abundant mineral all soils and chlorite generally dominant clay followed by illite expandable clays consisting mixed-layer minerals involving vermiculite. The study also illustrates how specific surface area constitutive water content can be used to evaluate departures average composition sensitive clays. relationship between activity shows when compared different sedimentary basins have mineralogy, they are characterized a much lower area.
