摘要: Abstract In our experiment, alternating pulse stimuli of both low and high intensity are used to study the pupil reflex light. When applied monocularly, stimulation normally results in a sustained contraction; when alternated between two eyes, it is found produce small transient responses similar those obtained with monocular stimulation. order mechanisms regulating these binocular responses, model pupillary light constructed. It includes parallel AC DC pathways for processing stimulus motor signals iris muscles, nonlinear parameter control pathway gains dependent upon internal operating level, summation that equal pupils, neuromuscular delays lags. The simulate experimental data. shows be due canceling by symmetric stimuli, thus allowing become manifest. Therefore dilatory portion shown lead-lag operator not off-dilatation elicited removal from eye. Finally discuss Marcus Gunn sign, clinical test utilizing this detecting unilateral afferent defects.
