摘要: Substrate-histochemical, enzyme-hystochemical and ultrastructural investigations were performed on thymic tissue from children, obtained in heart operations. β-Amylaseresistant, PAS-positive Hale-positive substrates presumably neutral acid mucosubstances, can be demonstrated the central concentric lamellae of Hassall's corpuscles (HC). These also give positive reactions for sulphydryl groups disulphide groups. Some flattened cell elements gave strong phospholipids, small sudanophilic droplets, fats, are scattered throughout HC. All investigated hydrolases dehydrogenases either no or only very weak part progressive HC, but react strongly their peripheral hypertrophic epithelial cells. In regressive phosphatase β-D-glucuronidase recognized. lysosomal enzymes may indicate degenerative processes.
