摘要: Despite the advantages offered by multilevel inverters, one of main drawbacks that prevents their widespread use is circuit complexity as number power switches employed usually high. This paper presents a new inverter topology with considerable reduction in used through switch-sharing approach. The fact proposed applies two bidirectional for sharing among three phases does not prevent it from producing seven levels line-to-line output voltage waveforms. A modified scheme space vector modulation via application virtual vectors developed to generate PWM signals switches. performance investigated MATLAB/SIMULINK simulations and practically tested using laboratory prototype DSP-based modulator. results demonstrate satisfactory verify effectiveness method.
