摘要: Abstract Mechanical fracture properties of specimens taken from refractory materials different brittleness are described using the wedge splitting method according to Tschegg in uniaxial and biaxial load cases. Notch-tensile strength, energy characteristic length were determined. Fracture under a is more or less same for all materials; if becomes biaxial, values fall approx. 70% with reduced 40% brittle materials, compared values. The sensitivity against crack propagation (lch) changes insignificantly both loading brittleness-reduced materials.
