Development of scales to measure perceived physical education class climate: a cross‐national project

摘要: Motivational research in the classroom has adopted a social cognitive perspective but mainly been restricted to study of individual achievement cognitions. In addition this, there is need and assess perception children have class climate. Using theory as base, this reports development climate scales French English for use physical education classes. Psychometric with scale was shown be satisfactory, including adequate factorial structure assessed by exploratory confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), good internal test-retest reliability. A parallel demonstrated less fit proposed model when using CFA, shortened assessing just mastery performance dimensions were predict important motivational measures structural equation modelling analysis.
