摘要: The aim of this study was to find the prevalence β-haemolytic Escherichia coli in milk, as well their sources, and sensitivity antibiotics. E. isolated from samples cow camel udder surfaces, milking persons’ hands. organisms were identified using API20E biochemical kit. Haemolytic activity tested on 7% defibrinated sheep blood agar while antibiotic Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion method. isolates milk 25% 32% respectively. None swabs, hands, or water β-haemolytic. In resistant Ampicillin, Cefotaxime, Cefepime 25, 37.5 12.5% respectively, it 52.4, 23.8 28.6% Prevalence multidrug three antibiotics for 19% milk. Ciprofloxacin, Piperacillin/Tozobactam, Amikacin, Imipenem. Cefotaxime indicates growing resistance microorganisms drugs that are supposed be effective against them. presence absence animals’ surface hand swabs could indicate better survival which they shed into This is a public health concern especially pastoral communities who have preference consumption raw
