摘要: The western region of the Brazilian Amazon Basin has long been shown to be a highly endemic area for hepatitis B and D viruses. Data concerning prevalence C E viruses in this are still scarce. In study we investigated presence A, B, C, infection communities that live along Purus Acre rivers states Amazonas within Basin. A total 349 blood samples were collected tested A-E serological markers (antibodies and/or antigens) using commercial enzyme linked immunosorbent assays. Anti-HCV positive sera further assayed by an immunoblot. HBsAg subtyped immunodifusion. overall 93.7%, 66.1%, 1.7%, 4%, respectively. very high delta (66.6%) was found among subjects. Hepatitis largely disseminated population, while presented low rates region. analysis risk factors HBV demonstrated transmission closely associated with sexual activity.
