摘要: Objective: To explore cortical hemodynamic responses using fMRI in the context of three dichotic listening tasks. Background: Dichotic is a widely used behavioral technique indicating brain laterality during which subjects are presented with two different auditory signals at same time, one arriving each ear. offers potential to response and relate indices these measures. Method: was performed for 10 right-handed normal consonant–vowel syllable pairs task detecting “target” by pressing button. The target stimulus appeared equally often left right were instructed either concentrate on stimuli both ears (DIV) or only ear (FL) (FR). In addition, control condition syllables binaurally. Hemodynamic measured applying whole-head echo planar imaging techniques statistically analyzed statistical parametric mapping (SPM99) software. Results: During listening, there generally extended activations frontotemporal networks. For DIV condition, authors found strong bilateral inferior frontal gyrus, Broca’s area, middle superior temporal gyrus. FL an additional cluster FR stronger area Conclusions: These findings taken as evidence that more demanding, requiring processing capacity distributed measures not simply function lobe activation. Rather, support notion strategies controlled neural structures applied listening.
