摘要: We present a formal analysis of iconic coverbal gesture. Our model describes the incomplete meaning gesture that’s derivable from its form, and pragmatic reasoning that yields more specific interpretation. formalism builds on established models discourse interpretation to capture key insights descriptive literature gesture: synchronous speech express single thought, but while form is an important clue interpretation, content can be resolved only by linking it context.
