摘要: Throughout the last twenty years, 3D seismic ray modelling has developed from a research tool to more operational that gained growing interest in petroleum industry. Various areas of application have been established and new ones are under development. Many these applications require system with flexible, robust efficient algorithms core. The present paper reviews basic elements such system, based on ‘open model’ concept ‘wavefront construction’ technique. In latter, Cervený's dynamic tracing is an intrinsic part. can be used for generating attributes synthetic seismograms realistic surveys tens thousands shots receivers. Moreover, some other types illustrated: Production Green's functions prestack depth migration hybrid (combined finite-difference modelling), attribute mapping illumination analysis, both survey planning interpretation. Finally, concepts ‘isochron rays’ ‘velocity related isochrons introduced recently, very interesting future applications.
