摘要: The direct recovery of precious metals, particularly gold and the platinum group from chloride solutions, is achieved by solvent extraction selective stripping/precipitation. Substituted quinolines are used as active extractant, in particular alkyl substituted 8-hydroxyquinoline. Gold precipitated either hot water, or hydrogen after a cold water wash. Palladium remains organic phase more severe reduction stripped with acid. Platinum (and other metals) into (the aqueous precipitant wash), can be recovered (in stages). not degraded providing acid washed out before any reduction, recycled.
