摘要: Low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) levels are associated with higher risk of cardiovascular disease, even in patients receiving statin therapy. HDL-C has a number potential atheroprotective mechanisms, including reverse transport. also antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, vasodilatory and antithrombotic effects. A targets the to raise and/or increase transport have been identified. Plasma concentrations net result de novo production, catabolism recycling particles, as well contribution from components other lipoproteins. can be modified by increasing production apolipoprotein A-I or delaying clearance plasma. Whether manipulation these drug will event reduction remains determined.
