摘要: Abstract Carbon-boron-nitrogen (CBN) alloys prepared by pyrolysis have been characterized using electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS). Particular attention was paid to the homogeneity in chemical composition over nanometre length scale and extraction of local bonding information which are both prime importance for properties such as strength, oxidation resistance well subsequent materials processing. Further examples power EELS analysis provided studies elemental distributions C fibres from polymeric precursors, investigation structure vapour grown identification interfacial reactions fibre/SiC composites.
